Delta Airlines

Delta Airlines deals are plentiful, after a recent merger with Northwest Airlines/ Delta is now the largest carrier in the world in terms of number of flights and number of passengers. It flies to destinations on six continents and is influential in the airline industry. Delta is a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance. Nonetheless, the airline has struggled with its image recently; it is one of the lowest rated legacy carriers in the US in terms of customer satisfaction. However, it has a respectable on-time rating even though it serves some of the busiest airports in the country, including New York JFK and Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson (which is currently the world’s busiest airport).

Delta has over 70,000 employees. It operates more than 1,500 flights per day. Its affiliates, most of whom operate regional flights under the Delta Express name, fly an additional 2,500 flights per day. It is one of the few airlines to have a global reach, flying to all six inhabited continents from the US.

Delta has in-flight services that include wireless internet access (available for a fee). Its newer planes have additional features like video on demand (for longer flights). Delta Sky magazine is one of the more respected in-flight magazines in the industry.
