JetBlue Airlines
JetBlue deals come from one of the largest low-cost-carriers in the US. It operates a hub at JFK International Airport in New York City. It has its own terminal (T5), which is considered one of the most user-friendly terminals on the East Coast. The carrier flies regularly to Boston, Florida and the Caribbean, but offers service to airports around the US. JetBlue operates under a budget airline model (similar to Southwest). However, it offers more amenities than Southwest, with in-flight entertainment and leather seats giving fliers a great flying experience.
JetBlue is one of the only remaining non-union airlines in the United States. It has remained profitable throughout the recent industry-wide slump. In the past two years, the airline has made code-sharing agreements with major carriers (Lufthansa, American and Aer Lingus). This allows JetBlue passengers to book connecting flights to Europe on thei airline’s web site. JetBlue is one of the only US-based low-cost carriers to offer extensive international service. It flies directly to eleven destinations in the Caribbean and maintains a base in Puerto Rico.
The airline offers deals regularly on its web site. Sales are also announced on JetBlue’s Twitter account @JetBlueCheeps. Unlike other airlines’ tweets, JetBlue only posts fare information on this account. There is no need to sift through irrelevant tweets to find the deals.
