1. 3 Peaks Resort and Beach Club: Located just minutes away from Lake Tahoe and the Heavenly Gondola, the 3 Peaks Resort welcomes friendly pets weighing under 35 pounds. Guests with pets must notify the hotel in writing that they have a furry, four-legged companion with them during time of check-in. A $20 per night pet fee will be added to your overall bill. Dogs may be kept in the room without an owner, provided you have a kennel or crate. 2. Best Western Plus Timber Cove Lodge: Relax in comfort , and in good company at the Best Western Plus Timber Cove Lodge. Close to the California/Nevada state line border, this hotel features a private beach available all year round (not suitable for dogs). Guests and their pets are invited to stay at the hotel for an extra $25 per night, plus a refundable $100 deposit. No weight limit or other restrictions apply, however, guests are not allowed to leave their dogs in the room unattended. 3. Park Tahoe Inn: This newly renovated boutique hotel is adjacent to The Shops at Heavenly Village, and just one block away from a number of Tahoe's finest restaurants and casinos. Pets under 50 pounds are welcome to stay for an extra fee of $25 per night. Please be mindful of other guests and the house keeping staff, and do not leave your pet in the room unattended. 4. Motel 6 South Lake Tahoe: If budget accommodations is something you and your pet require, then stay at the Motel 6 South Lake Tahoe. There is no pet fee, and the motel allows pets with no weight limit or quantity restrictions. Behind the motel is a beautiful bike trail/hiking path that you and your four-legged family members will surely appreciate. Not only is the Motel 6 pet-friendly, the location cannot be beat, and is in close proximity to Heavenly Ski Resort. 5. Fireside Lodge Bed and Breakfast: The newly renovated Fireside Lodge is a pet-friendly, cabin-style hotel in South Lake Tahoe. Backing up into the National Forest, there are miles upon miles of hiking paths, bike trails, and beaches for you and your dog to explore. Guests can feel free to bring two dogs of any size to Fireside Lodge. There is a $20 nightly fee for one pet, and $30 for two. Enjoy your personal fireplace, fridge, wifi and daily morning breakfast.
